Pork Stir Fry Recipe
Are you tired of eating the same chicken every weeknight? This pork stir fry is worth a try. It’s spicy, savory (if you like – it can be customized), and perfectly saucy with tender vegetables and silky pork tenderloin or pork chops.
I have always loved takeout food. Lo mien, dumplings, Crab Rangoon’s, and wonton soup are all things I love! Recently, we have been enjoying making more home-cooked takeout food. We use better quality ingredients, there is no msg, and we can control the salt. And, bonus, you don’t have to drive anywhere to pick it up or pay for delivery!
This garlic ginger pork stir-fry is my newest and favourite stir-fry recipe. It’s spicy, savoury, sweet, and velvety.

WHAT FOOD COMES WITH A STIR FRY
Stir fry usually comes with noodles or rice. You can eat lettuce cups or cauliflower rice if you are careful about what you eat. I used Hookean noodles to make this pork stir-fry recipe. They have a great texture and absorb the sauce well.
WHAT KIND OF POORK DO YOU USE TO MAKE A STIR FRY
Stir-frying is a quick and easy way to cook pork. Since my grocery store has boneless pork chops almost every day, I use them often, but tenderloin is also a good choice. Ground pork is another option that’s delicious and less traditional.
HOW TO MAKE A POORK STIR FRY
It is elementary to make a stir-fry.
You will first need to cut your pork thinly and, if possible, across the grain. You’ll notice faint lines in your pork chops that run in one direction. This is similar to the grain on a piece of wood. To get the best tender details, slice with the grain and not with it.
Next, heat a little oil on high heat to cook the pork. It should be cooked quickly, or it will become tough. Add a bit of oil to the pan after you have removed the pork pieces.
After cooking your aromatics, such as the ginger and garlic, for a few seconds, add the vegetables to the pot.
Cook the sauce in a saucepan until it thickens. Then add the pork to the skillet. Add noodles to the pan during this stage and mix it all.
PRO TIPS TO MAKE THE PERFECT STIR FRY
When the pork is still partially frozen, slice it. This allows you to cut the pork super thin with minimal effort.
It is crucial to prepare a stir fry ahead of time. Stir fries are quick to cook, so organizing all your vegetables and sauces in advance is essential.
Choose an oil that has a high smoke point. My top choices are vegetable, peanut, and canola oils. Stir-fry recipes should be heated up. You don’t want olive oil to burn.
You can slice pork and vegetables ahead of time and keep them separate in refrigerator-safe containers. You can make the stir-fry sauce beforehand, but wait until you can use it.
